[ K Company, 3rd Bn, 325th, 82nd Airborne completed Airborne training at Fort Bragg, NC in October 1942 while they were F Co, 2nd Bn, 401st, 101st Airborne. After their arrival in England the 2nd Bn, 401st was transfered to the 325th GIR 82nd Airborne Div where they became 3rd Bn. and F Co became K Co.]
